  • Spearheading the integration of technology into the very heart of the learning experience. A passionate advocate for education, Zaitoon's mission is to empower both teachers and students through the strategic use of digital tools.

    Currently leading the charge in implementing the Trust's Digital Strategy, a bold vision for a unified educational platform that fosters collaboration, eases staff burdens, and elevates pedagogical expertise.

    Driven by a deep understanding of both education and technology, Zaitoon brings a wealth of experience to the table. With over 14 years in the classroom and 6 years of dedicated EdTech expertise, she is a Google Certified Trainer, Google Certified Innovator, and Google Certified Coach. This diverse skill set allows her to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring the effective implementation of digital solutions that truly benefit students and teachers alike.

  • Jon has been a primary school teacher senior leader in Manchester for over 10 years. Alongside his school-based work, Jon has held posts including Directorships of Computing At School and Barfoot computing. Jon leads the Computing PGCE at The University of Manchester and has contributed to several books on computing education. He works with schools nationally and internationally to improve computing provision and has a particular interest in leveraging AI to improve education for all.

  • Being from the North of England, John has first-hand experience of the differences with how education is delivered across the country. John helped to found LGfL in 2001 and held senior leadership and advisory roles in both central and local government. He is passionate about harnessing digital innovation to inspire children and teachers to enable education transformation. John has been named in the top 25 IT Leaders in the UK and is currently a member of the DfE National EdTech Advisory Group. John most recently won the ERA Outstanding Achievement Award for accelerating the adoption of new technology in schools and his dedication to saving them money, keeping children safe, tackling inequality, energising teaching and learning and promoting wellbeing.

  • Head of Port Sunlight Lab

    Joined Unilever as a trainee in Leeds, going on to work in Japan, North America and Port Sunlight R&D. As a trainee Cameron worked in R&D, Marketing and Supply Chain. Since then Cameron has worked in various R&D roles in Design, Deploy, R&D Functions ( Packaging and VP to establish Digital R&D) and Local Technical Management across HC, B&W and PC.

  • Passionate about using technology to enhance and evolve education in schools. Dedicated to education (Teach First Ambassador, former teacher with Qualified Teacher Status).

  • Also the founding headteacher of Ark Conway Primary Academy, the first free school to be designated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and described by former Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan, as ‘an engine for social mobility’.

    Damian has worked as an executive headteacher and a regional director for the children’s charity, Ark Schools. In 2014, Damian was named by the Education Foundation as one of their Educational Reformers of the year. He is co-author of ‘The 9 pillars of Great Schools’ and has contributed to publications and reports for the Department for Education.

  • Professor Andy Miah, PhD is Chair of Science Communication & Future Media at the University of Salford, Manchester, where he is also the Academic Lead for the Metaverse Special Interest Group, AI Ethics Champion, and Principal Investigator for the MediaCity Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub. His research focuses on the promise and peril of new technologies and his career has spanned the areas science, technology, art, media, and culture. A passionate communicator, he believes that we need to unravel the future by examining the ethics and morality of our options. Author of 10 books and over 150 academic articles, he is also a frequent media commentator and has written for the Washington Post, Vogue, BBC, Wired, and many other outlets.

  • Alison was born in Liverpool before moving to work in London 15 years ago. She is passionate about racial justice and has worked in a number of different settings where she has been able to lead and facilitate change in partnership with local people, the community and voluntary sector and public agencies. Alison has contributed to the voluntary sector in Liverpool from being involved with WHISC, the John Moores Foundation and Sefton Women and Childrens Aid and has just recently become Chair of the board of Steve Biko Housing Association. Alison took up her role as Programme Director for the Race Equality Hub in September 2023, drawn to the role by the opportunity to return to her roots and contribute to racial equality and justice within the Liverpool City Region.

  • Kalam Neale is a pioneer, disruptor, and trailblazer in education. Recognised for his exceptional commitment to Digital Innovation, Kalam was honoured with the prestigious Pearson National Teaching Award last year. Kalam has co-authored a number of ground-breaking qualifications in esports in collaboration with Pearson, Leadership Skills Foundation and British Esports that have now been studied by over 9,500 students globally.

    These revolutionary qualifications have re-energised student learning and unlocked numerous career pathways, spanning STEM, sport, creative, business and digital industries.

    Kalam also holds the positions of Governor at Barnsley College and Director of Education at Strategic Esports Group. His multifaceted expertise further extends to being a Trainer and Podcast Host at Pearson, where he shares valuable insights and knowledge with educators around the world.

    With over 12 years in education, and an extensive background in creating and delivering cutting-edge curriculum, Kalam is a driving force in education through an inclusive, innovative and forward-thinking approach.

  • As an Education Community Manager at Canva, Jade supports teachers and schools across the U.K.

    Prior to joining Canva, Jade has been a school leader, consultant and edtech founder. Jade is passionate about supporting students to express their creativity and develop digital skills whilst in education.

  • Krystina Pearson-Rampeearee (CEng MRAeS FWES FRSA MIET) is a multi-award winning Aerospace Engineer and STEM advocate who works as an Engineering Team Lead at BAE Systems and owns her own Etsy business, AviateHer. She studied Aerospace Systems Engineering, becoming the first engineer in her family. She is passionate about encouraging and inspiring more young girls to consider STEM careers.

  • Chelsea has dedicated her work to achieving gender equality within the tech sector. Her direct experiences of inequality within her previous roles inspired her to start InnovateHer, a social enterprise who are on a mission to get girls ready for the tech industry and the industry ready for girls. With her team, Chelsea plans for InnovateHer to become a pioneering industry-led STEAM education provider, inspiring teens to reach their potential and create a more inclusive future in tech, with a community of 1 million globally.

  • Following a 10 year career in classroom education, founded hi-impact in 2008 and has implemented many exciting and ground-breaking developments over the last 15 years, including implementing innovative technologies to enrich all areas of the curriculum for hundreds of schools both nationally and internationally.
